K-- you ask that as there are zero positives for Kerry unless one counts being a liar without honor that spent unproductive decades in the Senate. Thankfully, the positive for GW is he is nothing like Kerry-Heinz

Kumar, They are not after your vote. They just want to be right. It's like goldwater in 64, or mcgovern in 72. So far I have been wrong and the swift boat stuff has hurt kerry. I expect that these swiftboaters will overshoot and there will be a backlash against them by the moderates and independents that bush will attempt to go after beginning next week at the convention. In case you havent noticed Kumar, this is not a political thread anymore, its purely ideological. Not one person wants to engage me in a discussion on how this swiftboat stuff will play out in the election. No they just want to crucify Kerry. There is 20 years of lousy kerry performance in the senate to be discussed but these cats are focused on vietnam and thats because they never got over the fact that we/they lost there. Always has to be someone to blame. And what mccain, kerry and others accomplished by putting to bed the acrimony over vietnam years ago has been blown apart by political operatives and their sychophants taking advantage of the vets who served.
