No question that McCaulliffe and Kerry triggered all this or at least gave it impetus. I have always said that they are to blame particularly after the salute at the convention. Regardless of the above, this country was torn asunder by vietnam and this red state/blue state division is reminiscent of that. Now overlay the vietnam war debate redux over this and for me its a cause for great alarm. On this thread it seems to be a reason for great joy. The extreme vets get to shout again how they were betrayed by kerry and all those who opposed the war for whatever reasons. The confused swiftboaters are used and there is nothing clear in my mind coming out of what they say or the pro kerry vets say for that matter. Its the fog of vietnam all over again rather than the WOT. ITs a huge mistake Gina. Mike
