If I was suddenly to wake up in the Arab world, and if my memory was wiped clean, and if I was not exposed to any anti-US or anti-Jewish propaganda, and if I was accurately briefed on Israeli and American policies and actions -- it would take about fifteen minutes to learn for myself to be anti-Israel and anti-America -- not because of anything other than policies and actions that are morally unsupportable.

Is there hate literature out there? You know it, and I applaud you for exposing and condemning it -- but lets talk about foreign policy for a change and not hide behind the curtain of "its all their own fault" when it comes to their feelings about us and Israel.

The fact that anti-semitism has morphed into anti-Americanism shows what a complete disaster US policy towards the middle east has been.

There is no reason why the US should favor Israel over other nations. It is about as vital to US interests as Uruguay or Papua New Guinea. It has no significant natural resources and, because it is such a lightning rod, serves no purpose as a military ally.

The US has set the entire world against it over an insignificant little nation that means absolutely nothing to 90% of Americans.
