So Israel could say, look, it is inevitable that some country is going to go for the "Arab bomb" and we need to protect ourselves now because once they have the bomb it will be too late -- a preemptive strike now would send a clear message and would do so at a time when there would be less consequence than after the advent of an Arab bomb. So now is the time to "defened ourselves" -- we should strike now. Would you buy that logic? Should Israel be free to do that as a sovereign State?
