Oh, OK. I remember now, it was about unions. The Dems held up Homeland Security forever because the White House wanted there to be no unions and the Dems wanted unions. My husband belongs to the Patent and Trademark Office Union, which doesn't seem to accomplish much, but I know from representing people who work for the Post Office that unions can keep federal deadbeats from being fired for years. I, personally, have kept [edit] on the Post Office payroll for months, even years, longer than they could have dreamed of in private industry, due to unions.
