Then you shouldn't have made the Cisco-to-Enron and Chambers-to-Lay analogies at the opening of your post. Logically they're known as false analogies, as you belatedly acknowledged.

Kirk, your analysis appears to be missing one key data point: what's the company's total compensation amount compared to other companies. You are focused only on options, yet neglect their lower base pay, which has the net of invalidating your analysis. A valid analysis would include the total company compensation and a comparison.

I agree, which is why I don't own any shares. If Cisco would stop the dilution, it would eventually become a great stock to own again. Until then, not worth it for long term investors.
