Read it again. How do you determine if the company is a legit company or a scam if you are just looking at the books and actions of insiders?

My point was Chambers slowly diversifying his position is not proof that Cisco is not another Enron since Ken Lay of Enron did the same thing and used the same reasons.

If you can't use that test, then how can you tell? I look for increasing book value and/or paying dividends using earnings. I see neither for Cisco so it gets harder to find a reason to buy... hence I own zero.
