t4, So far, their demand from higher pricing has been very elastic. However, not only are coffee futures up a lot, but milk has increased in price for all the mochas and lattes. Lease rates have to have gone up with the real estate bubble.

The real pain will be felt by the barristas. If you have a drink that is $3.50 after tax, most folks just put the change in the little cup. If it is $3.95 after tax, same deal for the customer. But not for the tippee.
