Frankly, the country I remember 20-30 years ago, the folks on the top made very good money, but they were not paid like rock stars. And the folks on the bottom of the wage scale, they could support a family on one wage. They worked their butt off, but they could do it. Now, the top guys get GREAT money, the middle guys get just OK money at best, and the bottom guys get less than a living wage. Frankly, those bottom guys carry us with their sweat. Solution? I know we have to flatten the wage scale to return the country to "fairness". How you get there, I don't have any idea. Maybe Kerry does; I know Bush doesn't. John
