Other than that, I thought the movie was perfectly awful.

Obviously you are not a heterosexual female. -gg I could watch Tom Cruise read the phone book and be mesmerized.

There are some good sites on haiku, as well as the book series "Haiku" by RL Blyth, which I read a few months ago. It's a fascinating art, a life philosophy to some. Though I don't think any of us are gonna get there. :-)

Out did you? No, your words were succinct
and had depth, not unlike the ending of
your other attempt which is to say "And deep"

Mine fumble at the cadence, me
saying my poem reads different,
(I tend to stammer and drawl)

Haiku's usually as a criteria had a time of the year or
season in them and read most portray that,
they do write a similar form (forgot the term-- seni something--) and wrote back and forth with a certain
styling===(too lazy to look it up)-Anyways--

so for a better word, some haiku's for the Times article about
the Republican party gathering:

rich enjoy riches
beyond many outstretched hands
they buy my free vote

decadence deplored
by those that cannot have it
but want it themselves

gathered opulence
all that glitters with power
nice to be on top

Republicans say:
Democrats do are bidding
and work under us.
