You Northerners probably don't realize this, but most Southlanders regard Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties as being in Northern California--anything above Oxnard, and you are in Northern California, according to the fine folk in the south of your Fair and Glorious State. This is excellent news! I have favored giving SoCal back to Mexico for some time since effectively it is already part of it. But I wanted to keep Santa Barbara, Carmel, and San Luis Obispo. This should make my goal achievable! Failing transfer of sovereignty, I favor splitting the state in halves or thirds. Maybe quarters. I think the true Northern Californians want out too. Actually, if you click on each county in the map in that second link you provided in your original post in this series, you will get that county's statistics. Just trying to help. Then why didn't you and quit bellyaching? :-)
