Do you enjoy wallowing in O'Neill's lies and distortions? Kerry and Rassmann destroyed the rice cache by digging a whole in the middle and throwing in grenades. Although that would not destroy the entire store, it would do considerable damage. It was the best they could do with what they had. Kerry never said that his PH was for those rice wounds. It was for the arm injury when the SECOND mine exploded near his boat, throwing Rassmann into the water. These mines were remotely detonated. The VC would have their guns and rockets aimed at the site of the mine. It was standard practice to get out of the 'kill zone'. To stay in the same spot would have been gross negligence, since, as Rassmann and others on Kerry's (and Thurlow's) boat attested, there was enemy fire. Kerry's boat when up the river, turned around, and returned. Of course, Rush's audience eats this stuff up, and doesn't consider the contrarian views. That's why Rush is a shill for the right, because he doesn't present the other side of the story. No balance, no fairness...
