Hey, Chris, in your post #3957 to Ann, you left out education. Remember, Bush is supposed to be the education president.

Aww, c'mon Chris. If those before Bush had done their jobs via terrorists, there wouldn't have been a 9/11. Clinton had the opportunity to take bin Laden out and lacked the courage to follow through. Carter started all of this crap under his watch with the overthrow of Iran and Americans being held hostage for hundreds of days.

Bush inherited a crummy economy from Clinton. We were in a recession in Bush's third month in office. Show me a single policy of Bushs' that would cause that to happen in just his third month in office. He had to inherit it.

It was Bushs' economic policies that brought us out of the recession in just one year instead of dragging on for 3 or 4 years.

The market was doing fine until the possibility of a Kerry win came into play. The market looks forward and was pricing in a possible Kerry victory. As the polls have turned more favorable toward Bush in the last couple of weeks, the market has responded favorably as well.

3,000 Americans were killed at the hand of the terrorists. What would you have us do? You probably don't even know why we entered that war and it wasn't over WMD's either.

The dollar needs to be halved if we are to bring the trade deficit under control. You should know that.

You will always have deficits as long as you expect government to bail us out of every disaster that comes along, especially when everyone was screaming for the government to do something about preventing further terror attacks on this country.

Jobs are improving. They will improve even more if the temporary tax breaks Bush put into place become permanent. You won't see capital spending if companies have to pay out more in taxes.

C'mon Chris, wake up and smell the coffee.

If Kerry were President on 9/11 you would now be dead from nuclear radiation. His more "sensitive" attitude towards terrorists would enable your demise. He would also be a major disappointment for your enumerated list. John Kerry's priority list as Pres would look like this:
1) Invite Jacques Chirac to the WH(my cousins in Brittany will be so impressed)
2) Ask the UN for their "must do" list
3) Arrange for Teresa's demand of Environmental concessions by the USA (only 1 million job will be eliminated)
4) Hang all Vietnam medals on oval ofc wall, in addition request a special emerald encrusted Presidential Medallion from all the services for my collection
5) Ask congress to not interfere with outsourcing of American jobs...Teresa said the 3rd world needs jobs more than Americans.
6) Start an Olympics strictly for world leaders. Events will include: wind surfing, biking(only $6000 models qualify), stunt flying, skiing, swiftboat races, medal wrangling
7) Ask Supreme Court Justices if it's constitutional to change my job title to "Grand Exalted Ruler"
8) Oh yes...American voters gave me that long list of concerns, where is it?...I'll look for that tomorrow. Now I must call Brinkley & tell him to get started on my Biography Pt II: "Tour of the White House"

Bush wants us to believe he is the war hero and Kerry is a weak liberal. That is just the opposite of reality. To pull this off, the Bushies must resort to massive lies and disinformation campaigns backed by thousands of rightwing pundits echoing the same pack of lies. If you're in rural Ohio the rightwing =dominates the media so people hear this crap and might actually start believing it's true.
