In San Jose, aka Silicon Valley in the People’s Republic of California, they limit what kids can wear to school. Certain colors are not allowed as they are considered "gang related." I don't see it as any different. One gang wears small hats and the other wears head scarves. One wears swastikas and the other wears shaved head and tattoos. One wears red bandannas and the other wears blue ones. School is to be a place of learning, not political expression. DO you consider it a lapse of freedom to not allow 12 yr olds to wear swastikas on their t-shirts? I bet JT would say this discussion is off topic. –g-

The rules of war have changed since 9/11 and 99.9% of the world does not see it for what it is. We are in a NEW clash of civilizations brought about by terrorism incorporated resembling the medieval world vs. the old nation-state system with defined boundaries. Ambiguity and chaos is the goal with overlapping sources of authority along all global economic, political, religious and cultural loyalties diluted among various terrorist factions and influences. We now live in a frontier-less borderless war where the enemy is ushering in medi-evilism on their own terms. In your spare time, read Samuel Huntington's The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of the World Order and you will soon begin to recognize what is really unfolding before your very eyes. Witness now as Russia and France are sucked into this black hole trap. Russia knew full well something bad and big was brewing in the spring and summer of 2001 with Tatyiana Koryagina proclaiming the collapse of the dollar and U.S. financial markets. France had her subterranean sweet heart below market price oil deals with the ruthless killer Saddam and Iraq in exchange for the tacit agreement to fend off the U.S. at every John Wayne passe. Now, in the past week, two civilian Russian jets get blown up at the hands of the terrorists and now France is getting hit below the belt with two French journalists taken hostage at the whims and demands of fanatics trying to dicatate another nation states sovereignt rights to dictate their own policy. No- this has nothing to do with scarves... cloaked under the auspices of freedom of speech... This is islamist fanaticism of the highest order trying to dictate the new rules of the game and thrust the world back to neo-medievilism. As a result, Russia and France will have no choice but to become one with the U.S and coalition forces in the global war against terrorism incorporated. Quite ironic how the unfolding of strange bedfellows come together in the international community at the hands of nut cases. Cheers, JT
