It's hard to say if they would have won but that clearly was a huge momentum breaker. ESPN made it the turning point of the game and brought it up over and over in replays and how significant it was to the game. ESPN showed how bad a call it was too. If Tech scores on that play and goes up 17-7, with the way they were playing, they would have been hard to beat. Beamer must be unbelievably frustrated. I don't know how he can't scream but if you do the officials will remember it later on. Just human nature. The Big Ten is doing a trial on instant replay this year. Should be interesting to see how that goes. At a minimum they should have it in bowl games. That loss won't hurt Tech at all if they put a string of wins together.
