"Women without scarves violates a tenet of the Islam faith." Not really. The Koran directs that women should dress "modestly". It doesn't detail what "modestly" means. In France, if they are wearing any clothing at all, that should count... Unfortunately, The Prophet died a long time ago. I suspect that he probably wouldn't be real happy with all the hard liners that want to lock all of Islam in a deep freeze.
