Bush says we cannot win the war on terror. What a putz. What an idiot. What a liar. What a suicidal nut. Was that the worst gaffe you've ever heard a candidate make or what? There can be no strategic value to it, it was an accidental gaffe, but he meant it, in his own way.

Can you imagine if FDR had said we cannot win the war against the Nazis?

Sad to say, but if Bush 41 had actually been successful in Iraq, we wouldn't have had to overthrow Saddam last year.
