We would probably head up the west coast of Florida into Alabama or Tennessee.

You might want to consider going south instead ..
especially if the storm is headed in a NW or NNWerly
direction .. If you can get south of the center's
projected latitude then you've avoided the storm ..

Your a smart lady moneypenny and If I where you, I would reserved a hotel room or condo now because of this being labor day weekend. I seen the mess when a very small storm hit the coast on july 4 a couple years back. Hotel rooms was very hard to come by. Might want look at getting I 10 when you get north

and plans are locked in

I hate flying as it is
