My city has a 6% utility on the ballot for passage during the upcoming November elections. Why? To pay for the local police and fire since the takes from taxes on businesses and other have fallen.

The rotten economy is already taking its toll on the quality of life here in the US. The quality of life in China and India is skyrocketting due to job outsourcing.

It is pathetic to me that both parties ; but especially the GOP throwing out falsehoods about the entire 9/11 terror thing. Why did Bush lose focus on Afhganistan?
