Not true. Most economists see Kerry's plan to cut the budget deficit as better than Bush. Bush's plan to make the tax cuts permanent will only worsen the deficit.

I'm pretty sure that the 'majority of economists' see BOTH candidates economic proposals as unrealistic pie-in-the-sky, that avoid speaking reality to the public so they can win the election.

But the current epic bout of structural deficits is the worst in generations... and will severely damage the prospects for future growth in the nation (as every major economic analysis has predicted, including the OMB, the CBO, and even the econometric firm hired by the WH to use 'dynamic scoring' and run the numbers prior to the State of the Union).

From here on out, it gets hard.
