In another report I have read elsewhere, a cruise missile meant for Osama missed him by about 50 yards (or was it 50 ft?) and it did not explode. And superstitious folks thereafter declared Osama to be "zindabad". (That means, long live, invincible). Osama at that time was near a cave entrance.

Shortly after that, Osama sent a fax to his spokesman in London to declare he would be responding with "spectacular" reprisals. The rest is now history which you have asked me to keep quiet about.

Bush ignored terrorism. Bush took NO ACTION against Al Qaida. Nothing. The USS Cole attack was not long before Bush took over. He did nothing to avenge it at all. He also ignored frequent warnings. Clinton did a lot but not enough. Bush did nothing. Big difference. Kerry also warned both Clinton and Bush about 9-11 style attacks three times in 1999,2000 and 2001. Bush ignored all such warnings. disbanded Clinton's counter-terror desk.
