"ABX has showed some smarts..." You seen their chart the past 3 years?

investdb.theglobeandmail.com

Not much to get excited about, along with a measly 1% yield.

Hi Spots,

Although I do own some abx, as a matter of principle, I don't like hedging. I played the option markets for years hedging with calls. Now I prefer to play "volatility long".... leaving the gain wide open. I own ABX not because of its hedges but because of its UNHEDGED reserves and growth potential. (I consider its hedges as a desirable diversification)

But right now I'm more enthusiatic about a .16 cent penny mining stock ! To my mind an incredible bargain... but people are dumping it because its price has been going DOWN ! Surely rather silly.

If I'm playing poker and I don't know who the patsy is... it's probably me ! (We'll see)
