I find it interesting that banning people from this thread is so important to you that you feel a need to have a "co-host" to help you do that while you are away.

Hi Chinu, I appreciate the post to which I'm responding, about your having given moderation capabilities to CR. It's been no secret for weeks that the two of you co-run the thread, as you've been forthcoming about it. And I think it makes sense, given the fact that this is a political thread during a very politically contentious time. It's become necessary, unfortunately, to run a thread like this by committee. And much of that necessity is the result of a few right wing posters-- long since excluded-- who have devoted most of their posting time and energy for weeks now doing little more than commenting about what goes on here, trying to make end-runs through the development site, even enlisting friends who haven't been moderated off into becoming human carrier pigeons. I've not been posting much for two reasons: first,the articles posted by good researchers like CR and Stockman Scott are better than what I could dig up at this point in time. And second, I've seen the concentrated effort on the part of a few posters with far too much time on their hands and too much vitriol in their hearts to make you, and the other posters here, persona non grata in SI Dave's eyes. And frankly, that angers me. I hope Dave sees beyond their small-mindedness and allows this thread to continue to be a discussion among Kerry supporters, as it was intended to be all along.
