Tom you asked me about Baytex and Advantage re: Hedging... russet's comment on Barrick Maybe they hedged too much ... that is the parallel I was alluding to. Barrick hedged when gold was in freefall / doldrums as russet stated ... Baytex and Advantage (and other CanRoys mind you) hedged when they thought OIL was peaking not foreseeing near 50$ oil which has also supported natural gas... so Advantage and Baytex get burned ... like Barrick... I don't know that there is anything more to it than bad luck.. which before was good luck...

They might though be humming that old Paul Simon / Phoebe Snow duet

Gone at last...

sinp..

I was thinking about my past
I've had a long streak of bad luck
But I'm praying it's gone at last

Gone, gone at last, gone at last
Gone at last, gone at last
I had a long streak of that bad luck
But I'm prayin' it's gone at last
