Longnshort is correct. Also our lifestyle has changed drastically. We're more likely to visit warm climes during winter vacations than 50 years ago. Our skin is not ready for the quick change. Also our dress has changed, look at old photo's from the early 1900's men wore shirts to swim in, I'm not sure what it was that women swam in, but I definitely like the invention of the bikini! <g>
