I was a rabid Ant-War Vietnam protester back then and Proud of it. The Conservatives back then were liars as usual: The Dominoe effect never came about. Need I remind you how Laos, Cambodia and the whole region was suppose to go communist if Vietnam went communist first! How come it never happened Conservative Boy? Never mind that the "dominoe [sic] effect" wasn't a Republican invention, perhaps you should check your other "facts" before spouting off. Ever hear of the Khmer Rouge, dummy? It took Cambodia over twenty years to reestablish somewhat stable democratic rule after they took over and the communist Vietnamese later invaded to boot them. And regarding Laos, they are STILL a communist nation. Jeez! Didn't you check that? You might also recall the various marxist-led revolutions in Latin America. Perhaps you were recovering from your "rabid" days and missed the last two decades of the Cold War.
