Zell was always a solid Democrat...It was when he got into congress and saw from the INSIDE what the Democrats had become and that made him want to puke. I don't blame him.

He is over 70 years old now, he has no reason to worry about what people think of him, nor is he just out to sell a book, nor is he looking for a place in the Republican party..You just have to admit that Zell told it like it is and he was right.
