In Germany, Italy and Japan, we occupied defeated nations that had attacked us. Their countries had been ravaged by war -- the firebombing of Japan and parts of Germany had been ruthless in killing hundreds of thousands of unarmed citizens -- not to mention the nuclear attacks. Have you ever been to ground zero in Hiroshima? It is a church, and it still stands. The bomb detonated directly above the church and beside a large park. It was a holiday and tens of thousands of children were there playing. Their ashes were later collected and piled to make a small grassy hill -- the ashes of thousands of children whom we murdered to secure our victory. Was it necessary? We had been attacked and fought in self-defense -- our actions were unspeakable, but at least done in defense of our own country. Do not lecture me about the willingness of the Japanese to live under our occupation. They in turn had ruthlessly murdered millions upon millions of Chinese with biological weapons experiments -- atrocities of the worst kind. You speak rubbish about us going into Iraq as liberators -- the Iraqi's no longer see it that way, if they ever did.
