LOL!!! I just proved that Bush did all his drills for 1974 in 1973!!! and you're still posting that sloppy Boston Globe article? Show me in the article where they add up how much time or points or drills Bush owes on his service? This is BASIC research and reporting. The Globe isn't interested in that. Their too busy manipulating ready dupes like yourself.

''He broke his contract with the United States government -- without any adverse consequences. And the Texas Air National Guard was complicit in allowing this to happen," Lechliter said in an interview yesterday. ''He was a pilot. It cost the government a million dollars to train him to fly. So he should have been held to an even higher standard."

help me out the draft is for two years. reading report i find at least 18 months of active duty served by bush training to qualify to fly..

If I fail to do so, I am subject to involuntary order to active duty for up to 24 months.

He signed a notice that said he was subject to active duty. What's the problem.? There was no longer a requirement for qualified mos why activate him. What was he supposed to do in cambridge read a book again. He gamed it. case closed.

I only met one guy in guard who didn't make up meetings. he was called on carpet two or three times while he was in our unit.. only after he missed another nine months did they put his name back on draft list. I do not what happen after that.

Tell me the TRUTH, do you REALLY CARE whether or not President Bush completed every drill? President Bush is NOT running on his National Guard record but his PRESIDENTIAL RECORD. Unlike Kerry who BY KERRY'S OWN ADMISSION has NO POLITICAL RECORD worth discussing, Pres. Bush is proud of his PRESIDENTIAL RECORD. In Kerry's case, poor guy has to go back to FOUR LITTLE MONTHS of INSIGNIFICANT rank to talk about. Dont believe me, go back and review his SPEECH. jdn

Re: "Bush fell short on duty at Guard"

No kidding! I wonder where those disciplinary reports got off to? <G>

PS --- I noticed some posters asking for the details, (Guess they don't trust The Globe....
