help me out the draft is for two years. reading report i find at least 18 months of active duty served by bush training to qualify to fly..

If I fail to do so, I am subject to involuntary order to active duty for up to 24 months.

He signed a notice that said he was subject to active duty. What's the problem.? There was no longer a requirement for qualified mos why activate him. What was he supposed to do in cambridge read a book again. He gamed it. case closed.

I only met one guy in guard who didn't make up meetings. he was called on carpet two or three times while he was in our unit.. only after he missed another nine months did they put his name back on draft list. I do not what happen after that.

Like the good Lt. Colonel said......cheating on your income taxes is still cheating on your income taxes whether you get caught or not. Mr. Bush has asserted he did nothing wrong; in fact, he flaked out. He's lied once again!

You should expect more from your president!

I haven't heard Bush touting his military career
as a reason to re-elect him, or to have even
elected him in the first place.

Am I missing something here?

If the Kerry fawning journalists were as interested
in evaluating his record---both military and civilian--
as they evidently are in combing Bush's NG records,
the public might be served.

As it is, it is Kerry---and only Kerry and his minions--
who have touted his military service as the centerpiece of
his qualifications to be POTUS.

It therefore seems to me that Kerry's
background should require increased scrutiny.

SO why all the brouhaha about Bush and the NG?
Are we back to the best defense is a good offense?
Or is it simply that Kerry has so little to offer?

It would be funny if it were not so transparent.
