When they went after cheney because of legit deferments he had gotten to avoid vietnam, i cringed a bit because i never have never quite come to terms with my own deferment/avoidance/war opponent history. But when they went after Bush who may have gotten some help in getting into the reserves but who for christs sake learned to fly an F102, i got angrier. I came from a middle class family. I avoided the draft. My brother wound up in the reserves because my dad had a friend. McCaullife just doesnt remember the times and they are alientating and in a weird way uniting former vets and draft dodgers alike. I also think that this hoax is likely to have been perpetrated on cbs who prides itself as being the NYT of broadcast journalism. Wake up CBS, Ed Murrow is dead. And dan rather is a biased fool. What's the frequency Dan? Remember the mugging. Mike
