My wealthy friends pay very few taxes. They have wonderful accountant/lawyers who are able to create ways for them to avoid tax consequences so when you give me those percentages of who pays taxes I always smile... because I know that the wealthiest do not pay .. Even have friends who had fake businesses to write off everything... cars,gas,insurance,dinners out... Unfortunately a lot of hard working Americans whom I think of as middle class do not enjoy the advantages open to those who can afford what I just described so they end up with the taxes to pay and they are not given much back on tax benefits when the government gives them out. Have you never heard the song the rich get rich and the poor have children...?
