but how would this be possible under this WTO agreement? So even if China wanted to do this, it would be impossible.

By Latin-Americanization, I mean all of the below:
--the ever-increasing gap bet. the rich and the poor;
--upheaval of the society;
--NO core national industry and lack of international competitiveness;
--sky-high foreign debt and imbalance of domestic economic structure.

This possibility INDEED now worries a lot of Chinese.
