Michael missed one salient aspect of this failed campaign: I asked months ago and even created a thread to discuss the question, "Why Kerry?"

What has John Kerry done, or what has he got that indicates his ability to administrate the greatest super power the world has ever known. He has been a proscecutor and he has been a high level government official for decades. There should be plenty of meat in that for a discussion on the topic, "Why Kerry?" Even the most staunch Democrats were able to offer nothing of substance to that discussion.

This is a discussion that would have to dove tail any discussion of issues. Here are the issues that need to be tackled, and here is why he is the man go get the job done. What is so hard about that?

Great article, that has been my thinking exactly. The dems other than Clinton, who is a natural and exceptionally capable politician, can't run a campaign.

They keep harping on the issues when it isn't ABOUT the issues. They think Kerry is going to show Bush up in the debates ... what they don't realize is that they are not "debates," and Bush will wipe the floor with Kerry unless the latter wisens up.

And Edwards ... don't even get me started on him, what a zero he is turning out to be.

"A million jobs lost, millions more in poverty, manufacturing down; no WMD's, 1,000-plus dead, Iraq on the brink of civil war, al-Qaeda larger than ever and still recruiting, acts of worldwide terrorism on the rise, North Korea and Iran responding to the cowboy routine by going nuclear. "

It is easy: just say it over nad over and OVER!
