I don't know. I think that countries could be persuaded, but I think that the prerequisite is a change in the US presidency. Countries like Egypt could go into Iraq to 'help their Muslim brothers' in exchange for influence, like when Pakistan came over to our side post 9/11.

It is not in the interest of other countries in the region to have a destabilized Iraq EXCEPT to humiliate and emasculate the US. If the US accepts concessions and restrictions, maybe we can exchange that for commitment of truly 'neutral' troops.

Bottom line: we've lost. Time to turn that defeat into as much of a victory as possible.
