Thats just it the police do want them available. After the chief of police assails semi autos as having no useful purpose, you find out they spend 200K outfitting the department with the exact same rifles. hmmmmmmmmm. Actually its worse than that. Police departments are buying 70 year old machine guns at taxpayer expense for big money...things that cost the average guy 25,000 dollars per machine gun. Now what use does a police department have for a nazi MG-42 machine gun for a price of $40,000?

Our founding fathers thought that it was OK to shoot government officials if they had become abusive of peoples rights.

In fact they did just that.

Then they put it into our constitution that it was the right of the people to keep their weapons.

Had nothing to do with this "hunting" crap ..
