Yep, that was an anomaly. If you go back over the last several years you'll find corn has spent most of the time closer to $2 than $3.40. Doesn't matter to most farmers though, the lower the price the bigger the direct payment and less work.

The scientists and your government has said we need an oxygenator in the gas. Maybe we should drop the ethanol and go back to MTBE, it only causes cancer and doesn't rile folks like ethanol does.
