Our founding fathers would not approve of the NRA. They were worried about people like the NRA as much as they were the Brits. They wanted citizens to be able to defend themselves from takeovers of our government, including radical rightwing takovers. Deep-down that is what NRA types fantasize about. It's called Helter Skelter and it a racist fantasy combined with armageddon. People like McVeigh and the Wacko From Waco believed in such horrible ideas. rightwing terrorists can be every bit as dangerous as Arabs as McVeigh proved. And people like Limbaugh encouraged McVeigh to rebel against the government. The NRA has almost no minority members. It is a quasi white supremicist group and Bush has caved into them. This will cost dozens of policemen their lives and will help any terrorist group operating in this country. Bush is wrong again.
