Bush lacks the character and intellect to lead the world's oldest and most powerful democracy.

Of course he does. Unfortunately (as our founding fathers knew when they worried about the mob) 48% of the American Adult Public lack the character and intellect to vote in this democracy.

I had read that. The last 15 years of my professional career was spent working with seniors who were preparing for college. I experienced SOME of the ilk that this professor described. Usually they were discernable by the interviewers at the colleges to which they applied.. rather perceptive admissions personnel who were accustomed to interviewing. EXCEPTIONS: Legacies, well connected...such as the Bush family members would have been. So I don't doubt that what this professor says is true. It's ironic too.. for me anyway that when Bush was serving his time in the National Guard a commander would take the time to write to the senior Bush how wonderful his son was.To single HIM out from all the other recruits ? This information has just been released... by the White House. IMAGINE now, a senior officer doing this. I would doubt this as more propaganda being fed to us to obviate the obvious. President Bush was guilty of all the charges being leveled at him, albeit those were phony documents that CBS had and Rather reported on.THe essence of the documents is true.

If you have HBO Bill Maher was fantastic last night. His humor is awesome and he was taking off on all the weekly stories on the administration and the war etc. Really puts it all in a humorous perspective but in reality such a sad one.

Incredible. Bush apparently hates a good number of the people who voted for him, as he seems to be against everyone but rich people (everyone else is 'lazy').

A buddy of mine has a saying: once an ***hole, always an ***hole. I've found it to be true, though some are good at wrapping themselves in a sugar coating. That's Bush: the "sugar coated ***hole"
