A tough lesson, but one that the entire media seems to have to relearn every once in a while. Especially in this age of technology, the chances of fradulent evidence are enormous.

Rather and CBS don't ring sincere at all in their actions or statements

they are scrambling for damage control

they have lost credibility

fraud is an ugly word in reporting

they are trying to call it a 'mistake', but it was fraud, plain and simple
