Our Service Men and Women of today will someday be be called the 'Greatest Generation' , and it will be well deserved. They are as courageous and patriotic as those of my time and those in the wars since WW2. Of course, they are also a lot better educated. Many of my peers entered the military with less than a high school education. Actually, enlisting was a way of getting out of going to school, or money was tight at home so they would quit school to buy a car and support their girlfriends. WW2 made men out of most of them, and the ensuing GI bill was probably the best thing the Gov't ever did for its Veterans, and this country. KM Kerry Lied. Good men died
