I dodged the draft and worked against the war. I've never regretted it for a moment. My father, my uncles, all WW II volunteer vets supported me 100%. They thought it was a stupid war without reason. As Iraq is now. A good friend from high school was a concientious objector who went as an unarmed medic. He refused to talk about it on returning, but he did say he wished he hadn't gone.
