Bush has hammered on this idea that Kerry is a flip flopper.

He is. One of the worst I've ever seen.

The reality is that Bush is a flip flopper as well. He has had over 20 different reasons for us to go to war with Iraq.

Nonsense. Having 20 different reasons isn't "flip flopping"; it should be obvious to anyone that there are innumerable good reasons for Saddam's removal, and some are more important than others.

It's because anybody could run a smarter war than Bush.

This kind of nonsense criticism could be levelled against ANY president while in the midst of a war. LBJ? Nixon? Even Bush 41 was criticized about his handling of the Gulf War.

The reality is the war has been tremendously successful. As was pointed out yesterday, 15 of 18 provinces in Iraq are FREE AND SECURE today. 15 of 18. That's a pretty damned substantial accomplishment, any way you look at it. Yes, there continue to be some problems. But they are NOT typical -- they're simply all you hear about.

Any first grader learns that if you don't make friends on the playground, you open your self up to bullying and ridicule by everyone else on the playground.

This is ridiculous. You don't allow yourself to be run over by other nations. And that is precisely what Old Europe tried to do. It is important for them to understand that, if they want the UN to have credibility, they have to stand behind its demands.

Bush is not qualified to be president of the U.S.

He is indisputably the most qualified person running.

What we DON'T need is someone who will cooperate blindly with those whose interests are adverse to ours. If you take Kerry at his word, that's precisely what he would do. AND THIS IS PRECISELY THE REASON WE HAVE A MESS IN NORTH KOREA TODAY. You had idiot liberals appeasing a dictator. Now, instead of a controllable problem, we have a nuclear power to deal with.

Your post is idiotic.

MM, It's because anybody could run a smarter war than Bush.

I thought you believed that withdrawing from Iraq would be a terrible mistake. For you to believe both, you'd have to think that what Bush is doing is worse than, say, what JF wants to do, which is immediate withdrawal.

Or worse than what Kerry is likely going to do, which is drag out the war until our eventual defeat. Already his "plans" assume a lot of things that just aren't going to happen, such as France and Germany helping us out. There's no reason to believe that Kerry will fight a "smarter" war than Bush, but there is reason to believe that Kerry will not have the resolve that Bush demonstrates.

You want to know how I know Kerry will run a smarter war than Bush? It's because anybody could run a smarter war than Bush. Any first grader learns that if you don't make friends on the playground, you open your self up to bullying and ridicule by everyone else on the playground. Evidently, Bush missed this childhood lesson. This is something I know Kerry will do better.

Now, I don't want to bash Bush too much, because I am normally a Republican, but let's face it, Bush is not qualified to be president of the U.S. We deserve better.

Exactly, "we deserve better"!

Can you tell me what kerry's current plan is for Iraq if he is elected? I think that is the problem. kerry has almost presented every position one could imagine therefore demonstrating he will say anything to get elected. kerry is a liar on a daily basis.
