"Search This Subject"

Bob,

Thanks once again for adding back in an important feature ...

... and I might add, I like the way it's done (like IHub) with access from the top of the subject board header.

Also thanks for taking care of the use of CAPS in the formatting.

re: "search this subject"

"It's only available on the Subject page itself for a particular subject. If you click "New SI Interface Discussion", above, you'll see it off to the right.
I'm not going to add it to individual message pages because I abhor clutter."

Maybe you had plans for this already? Anyway, since it would only get used in two entities, subject.aspx?xxx and readmsg.aspx?xxx, couldn't the select box construction have a "this subject" condition built in, pre-render, just for those two asp entities. Gets rid of clutter and puts it into the place where everybody is getting used to searching currently. Satisfies everybody's needs? Easy to extrapolate later down the road, to a "this person" only on profile.aspx?xxx

Unless the select box is getting built too soon to do that, of course?

re: top of page search(main(?)search)

Is there any chance we could have that do a default to search for threads instead of quotes?

Or
Is that something I can/will be able to customize?
