Hi Gary, thanks for the acknowledgement. My PERSOAL reasons for being INVESTED in VRB stated here...
Message 20180186

""".....I have a small solar system with 8 deep cycle 6 volt battery's that is not being used to its potential ...because of storage...Many days go by when my system is producing 10 or better amps which does not mean anything because my battery's are full..large storage is what is needed and that is what A VRB system would provide.
It is the same with wind turbine, wind mills, or solar panel's...you must be able to store what is produced to be able to put it back into the grid at the most advantageous time or use it at the most advantageous time..that is the key, and that is why I am in VRB..."""

The above is at my camp in the bush, can you imagine only those 2 solar panels(and a windmill) pouring energy into a large capacity storage system while i am not there..when i arrive I have weeks of power waiting to be tapped...could I let my imagination run wild and imagine runing my vanadium electrolite electric car out there and exchanging charged electrolite for discharged...yes i can..can i imagine this system in the city? But these things take time..VRB in my opinion is making excellent progress.
Regards
gg

Spent a few weeks at a resort in the Dominican Republic ..Punta Cana and noted many habits which relate to VRB.Nearly all of lights that you see down there are compact fluorescent and they are very conscious of saving electricity due to the cost.. i was told upwards of $0.40/ KWR almost 10 times what I pay .
coudert.com
They issue only one room card (key) per room which must be inserted in a recepticle to turn the light and air conditioning circuts on when you come in, and which you take when you go out, which turns all the lights and air conditioning off when you are away..why? because of cost..the only reason I can see..apparently there are private electrical company's that supply only to the resorts.
The "people habits" at these resorts..resorts around the world for that matter..was what interested me..thousands of people on the beach all day using very little power(i would love to see the power use graphs in these resort areas)..What i see is the sun beating down on banks of solar panels feeding VRB's Redox ESS. ..wind turbines located in sugar cane fields also feeding "energy storage system"Initial cost of this infrastructure for power company ..HIGH..rewards under this scenario..ASTOUNDING!
