It pretty much does end there. You take out al Qaeda, and you probably have taken out 80% of international terrorists. What's left, a couple of thousand people? What amount of resources are you going to devote to getting those people? More than to curing cancer or heart desease?

It seems that you are purpously downplaying the danger that the Jihadists pose. Why is that?

Why don't you admit that the only you will feel safe is for the US to be going into a country doing shock and awe? That all you want is to know that something is getting done........even if its to no avail. And Bush's inept policies fit that bill perfectly.

Because it isn't that much of a danger. How many folks in the US have been killed or injured by Jihadists in the last three years?

I think you are failing to look in the mirror. His statement (take out Al Qaeda and you've eliminated 80% of international terrorists) sounds pretty accurate to me. There aren't a whole lot of Jihadist in Modesto CA, Des Moines, Iowa and Tampa, FL ya know.

Eliminate Al Qaeda and I think drunk driving becomes a more important national concern than Jihadists.

Don't fall for the Bush campaign rhetoric.
