The Saddam dead enders & the terrorists
know full well if a democracy succeeds in Iraq, they are
screwed. So they use suicide bombs & indiscriminately kill
soldiers & civilians in the vain hopes that looney liberals
will win the day & brong the troops back home.

Seems like most polls indicate the Iraqi people do not want the American presence in their country. They've been hit with a pretty heavy hammer. And now life is struggling to get back to normal.

Democracy will survive if the Iraqi people want it to. The Americans can't impose democracy.

Why don't the Iraqi people stand up for democracy if that is what they want? Maybe some do because it means a job. What is the unemployment rate in Iraq? Seems the rebuilding of Iraq has enriched Haliburton, without including the Iraqi people's energy and ideas. That's probably why they would like to see the Americans out of their country.

Seems to me that a program that truly includes the Iraqi people is the only one that will succeed.
