I can't get my camera to download. It's a Fuji using Finepix.
The archives on my CPU etc are fine but when I hook up the USB and try to do the regular download...nada. It's like it doesn't even see the camera.

Recently I have had some computer problems and dumped some files and added ad-aware.

I have thought of dumping finepix and re-loading but I'm afraid I'll lose my photos on the C drive which are archived in a Fuji FinePix program.

Any ideas??

I'm using Windows 98

Thanks C

This solution was posted on experts exchange.

"I guess I have the solution here. Go to Control Panel-->Administrative tools-->Computer Management-->Disk Management, then change the your Removable Disk (on the right bottom of the dialog window, just right click it to change) to another drive letter so it wouldn't conflict with the existing ones. That should do it."
