Body language...Bush was hunched all over the podium. His trademark neck in shoulders stance looked downright slovenly compared to Kerry's ramrod straight posture. Maybe it's my tv, but no matter what channel I turned it to, Bush's mouth was blue, like a Smurf. Kerry's teeth were gleaming white. When the camera panned back to view both as one spoke, Bush acted goofy. Kerry acted professional when Bush spoke, taking notes, noting cheap shots. I think I saw Bush pick up a pen, but I suspect he was doodling. BTW, do you think he was fed anything through an earpiece? Nah.

I agree! I'm watching TV, they're trying to spin it, but Bush didn't look Presidential (even though he's President) and Kerry DID. Given that the expectations are that Bush would WIN the debate, this is a stunning defeat for him. I'm sure Karl Rove knows it, and the next polls should reflect it.

This is a serious time, and we need a serious President. Kerry seemed much more the heavyweight than Bush. Bush's fearmongering may actually work against him after this.
