Well, daily (practically hourly) I'm less and less inclined to worry about trying to reproduce the old charts or replace them with something comparable. I believe your base position on SI is the correct one: concentrate on what makes this place very particularly special: the best investment discussion site on the planet. Charts were an add-on, still are an add-on. No single charts are going to make all of us happy: chartists have very personal and highly subjective customization needs. Not SI's forte with the old or new charts.
